the Economy of Ukraine. – Manuscript.

The dissertation for candidata degree in economics by speciality
08.02.03 – Organization of management, planning and regulation of
economy. – The Institute of Economics of the National Academy of
Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 1998.

In the dissertation directions and methods of external trade which
should be used to nullify the effect of the external economic factors of
inflation in Ukraine are explored on the basis of systematic analysis of
these factors. The connection among the external trade balance, budget
deficit and trends in the process of inflation in Ukraine is defined.
The principles of carrying out external trade in Ukraine through using
tariff quotas are worked out. The proposals regarding definition of the
legislative criteria of handling government procurement of goods
originating either in Ukraine or in foreign states are made. The main
principles of state subsidization of export industries are defined. The
proposals regarding use in the process of negotiations of obtaining by
Ukraine the market economy status of the arguments connected with
discriminating character of the criteria of the Ukraine’s status
definition in the anti-dumping investigations used by the foreign states
at the present stage are devised.

Key words: external economic factors of inflation, external trade
