The thesis for application of science degree of technical science
candidate on speciality 05.18.03 – Primary processing and storage of
products plant-growing. – Khersonsky State Technical University,
Kherson, 1999.

A paper, which contains theoretical and experimental researches in the
field of extraction of long flax fibre, namely yield is being raised.

The process of the extraction of long flax fibre with influences of
low-speed sliding bend of immovable needle-shaped sets on initial stage
by gradual increase of speeds of sliding material on adgas and
high-speed influences of scutching drums on the final stage of
mechanical treatment was worked out.Percentage of well worked up flax
stock with different physico-mechanical properties before final
treatment of scutching was raised up to 60-75.

Yield of long fibre from application of combination of influences
of low-speed and high-speed sliding bend in comparison with
traditional method of extraction was raised by 1,6% (abs).

The initial requisitions on designing of model production of unit
for extraction of long flax fibre were worked out us and by conclusion
of SCA “Ukrflaxhampindustry” submitted to projectal organization.

Key words: flax stock, long fibre extraction, differenciational
sliding bend, low-speed and high-speed influences, percentage of well
worked up stock, the encrease of long fibre yield.
