Pedagogical University, Kharkiv, 1998.

In the dissertation the specific features of information reflection by
the lexical units of the Russian language in comparison with the
phraseological units have been found out. It has been proved that
separate intellectual characteristics are reflected in the meanings of
the majority of the words, and the complex of the above characteristics
– in the meanings of the phraseological units. The principles of the
meaning interpretation in the complex ideographic dictionary are
formulated and the abstract of the above dictionary is presented.
