The Thesis is devoted to the research of semantical aspectuality
category in the structure of Russian deverbatives. The thesis proves
that a verb-derived noun is the periphery component of the functional
and semantical field of aspectuality on the base of the presence of
implicit aspectual features and residual aspect’s markers in their
structure. Aspectual deverbatives’ semantics is formed as the result of
the interaction of some implicitly and explicitly inherited verb
qualities, assumed grammatical and structural noun features as well as
aspectually relevant contextual situations of their usage.
