Thesis is devoted to investigation of the complexation of the Ru(IV)
ions with oxyacids and their application for volammetric determination.
The schemes of complexation processes of the Ru(IV) with citric,
tartratic and oxalic acids have been proposed. Polarographic catalytic
effects in solutions with low ruthenium content in the presence of
oxyacids have been studied for the first time. The scheme of catalytic
electrode process has been proposed. It has been demonstrated the
possibility of using of citric acid as addition reagent to polarographic
background, which assists in forming the only one analytical form of
ruthenium ion. Sensitive, selective and express method of voltammetric
determination of ruthenium in semiconductive pastes and alloys has been
elaborated.

The results of present investigations can be used as the base for
search of the other ruthenium compounds with organic ligands and
elaboration of nev methods of analysis.
