state engineering university, Sevastopol, 1998.

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of radiation characteristics
of ship antennas for radio communication satellite antennas. In the work
the new mathematical model of diffraction antennas has been developed.
The model allowed to take into account the fact that antenna system
elements are located in the Frenell zone. Therefore, it was possible to
carry out optimization of radiation characteristics of two-mirror
antennas. Taking into account sea surface influence expressions for
radiation characteristics of an antenna system have been obtained. The
formulas are very important for design of satellite radio communication
antenna systems. The experimental confirmation of the developed model
has been obtained. The basic results of the work have been found a use
for design of satellite communication two-mirror antennas.
