The dissertation is dedicated to the problem of a personality
development in social-and-cultural context. The concepts of social being
of culture and culture of person’s life are considered with the using
of principal propositions of dialektical and synergetical methodology.
It is established that the essence of social being of culture depends
on specificity of causation of culture and individual existense. Culture
is a spiritual-practical mode of self-organisation of human life, which
is aimed at the formation and development of social being. The immanent
causation of culture and person is conditioned by opened and
contradictory human nature, which demands the culture as a fundamental
anti-entropy factor. Culture is over-natural pheno-menon, connected with
consciousness’s functioning and it determines the social being’s
development through individual’s formation.

The content of social being of culture is exposed. It is
over-individual, plural system, which formed as realisation of human
being’s senses. The social being of culture involves all forms of being
– nature, person and society as far as they are included into the
cultural context.

The essence of social being finds the existentional nature and
individual-unique traits of its display.

The specificity of social-and-cultural dynamics has been determined. The
social being of culture is a system of objectified personality senses,
the personification of which realises through person’s selective
assimilating of cultural context. Having accumulated plural
perconalities life experience, culture produces the perspectives of
social movement, based on human interests. The social-and-cultural
paradigm is formed as an actual vector for social development.

The peculiarities of modern social-and-cultural paradigm and human
individuality, which conformes to it, are exposed. In the centre of
modern culture is person as an integral part of the world.
Humanity-oriented paradigm demands the individuality, which perfect
expresses the being of person and the world as an integral whole.

The consept of individual culture is proposed on the base of culture of
person’s life. The individual development is considered as being in
culture. The form-builders, which determine the existential causation by
person and culture, initiate the person’s self-creation, play the
leading part in culture of life. Individual formation is explored as
process of display of human subjectivity in cultural existentia. It
means that person creates himself and culture. So, the concept “culture
of person’s life” expresses the integral co-existense of unique cultural
form with social surroundings.

The content of modern educational paradigm is analysed. It’s proved that
system of education is aimed to make more active person’s self-creation
through knowledge. It’s established that individual culture is developed
by means of personal-oriented knowledge. Personification of science
knowledge initiates the students’ world view.

As culture is inseperably linked with individual life, so the social
being of culture assumes an existential character.

The results of the work have found a use in the theory and practice of
education.
