Dissertation is devoted to mathematical methods of analytic solution of
basic boundary-valued problems of the theory of solid-state wave
gyroscopes for transient operating regimes appeared in cases of steady
and uniformly accelerated rotation of the testing object. These methods
have been elaborated on the ground of general theory of spatial motion
of elastic solids. Theoretical consideration of those problems is
restricted in the dissertation to the piezoceramic sensing elements of
gyroscopic sensors in the form of bimorph beam and thin-walled
cylindrical shell. Unknown before regularities of splitting of resonance
frequencies and precession of normal modes of vibrations appeared in
such gyroscopes are found out for the case of uniformly accelerated
rotation of testing object. Closed mathematical model has been built,
and main operating parameters has been estimated in analytic form for
the cylindrical piezoceramic gyroscope in the case of transition of
operating regimes, i.e. from the uniformly accelerated rotation to the
steady rotation.
