The dissertation is devoted to investigation on radiobiological
characteristics of the hypersensitive reaction (HR) of tobacco plants
Nicotiana sanderae against Pseudomonas syringae pv. phaseolicola 291.
The time-dependent and dose-dependent nature of gamma-irradiation
effects on different stages of the HR development was established. The
first stage of bacteria-plant interaction (30-60 min after bacteria
inoculation) that induction of the HR was occured, was the most
radiosensitive. It is shown that the ingibition effect of radiation on
this stage could be conditioned by fall functional activity of banteria
cells which were to be very radiosensitive.
