The dissertation is focused on the analysis of task problem in foreign
and home literature, the specific character of linguistic task solution
at the lessons of the Ukrainian language and literature is given. The
concept “method” and its role in the task solution are revealed. It is
substantiated that the solution of a linguistic task is made on
condition that phraseological means are used. It is experimentally
tested and proved that substantial changes according to the levels of
the formation of linguistic tasks solution methods by phraseological
means are achieved owing to purposeful pupils’ activity. The application
of the algorithm built upon the system “Movement in a spiral” activates
intellectual abilities of junior schoolchildren and contributes to
successful solution of linguistic tasks.
