Thesis on a scientific degree competition of the professor assistent on
a speciality 05.11.13 – Devices and methods of monitoring. –
Ivano-Frankivsk state technical university of oil and gas.

The monitoring methods of the undeground turnpike gas pipeline
insulation surface condition are considered. In qualities of a
monitoring parameter it is selected dependence of a current losses on a
damage of an insulation surface degree. It is developed the methods of a
current determination in a underground gas pipeline which enable
synchronously to determine a current in a gas pipeline and distance from
the device of monitoring up to it axes. Besides the outside homogeneous
magnetic fields are taken into account. The device for realization of
monitoring with the help of one from offered methods is developed. The
theoretical evaluation of determination reliability of damaged isolation
areas is conducted. It is conducted the experimental check of the
developed device in field conditions.
