The phrasiological units functioning as a means of a second nomination
in the simple two-component sentence are investigated in this
dissertation.

The capability set expressions of different structure for having
semantic relations with other sentence components and for playing the
role of a certain part of the sentence is determined.

The functional correlation of phraseological units and lexemes is
defined. Phraseologisms correlating with certain lexico-grammatical
lexeme classes can express (but to some extent) grammatical categories
typical for them.

Tendencies defining the functions of phrasems as principal and
subordinate parts of two-component sectence, adresses, parenthetic
clauses and parenthetic constructions are determined.

correlation.
