Dissertation for a Candidate’s degree of Pedagogical Sciences on
speciality 13.00.01 – Theory and History of Pedagogics. – Pedagogical
University named after Taras Shevchenko, Lugansk, 1999.

It was investigated a process of social adaptation of senior teenagers
in condition of specialized humanities type of school.

The criterion and levels of social adaptation of senior teenagers were
substantiated. It was worked out the model system of non-class teaching
and educational activity joining organically introductory course “Man –
nature – society”, the activity of non-class educational form system,
and co-ordinate the interaction of school with other institutes of
person socialization. The efficiency of model has been examined
experimentally.

Key words: socialization, social adaptation, criterion and levels of
social adaptation, introductory course, system of non-class teaching
educational activity.
