borehole explosive charges while mining of horizons in opencast mines”.

Doctor’s dissertation to obtain a doctor’s degree of technical science
(candidate of technical sciences) in the major 05.15.11 – „Physical
processes of mining production” National Scientific Research Institute
of Labour Protection, Kiev 1999.

The delivery regards scientific works in which scientific and practical
recommendation have been presented focused on improvement of detonation
properties of borehol explosive charges while mining horizons in
open-cast mines. The conditions have been determined under which fading
(breaking) of detonation in passive charges occurs in the result of
interaction of impact and detonation waves in the system of borehole
explosive charges. The character of separation of energy of stresses
waves was investigated and advised parameters of shotfiring works with
borehole charges was determined in the zone of circum-contact rocks with
differentiated strength. The principality has been determined regarding
utilisation of explosive mixtures during mining of horizon consisting of
industrial explosives and special non-detonation additives.
