Soroka J. G. Perception Scheme of social space in texts of mass
communications.

Thesis for a candidate’s degree in Sociology, speciality 22.00.01. –
theory and history of sociology.

Thesis is denoted problems of studying social and ideological
directivity of mass-media texts in society transformation conditions.
Subject of work is connected with actual problems of mass-media
operation and theirs social role in the modern Ukrainian society. In
thesis’s brought an original approach to the analysis of product mass
media from standpoints perception schemes of social space. Presented
approach takes into account theoretical achievements of preceding
studies of this area, first of all positions on values in mass
communication. Base of offered methodology are concepts of modern social
theory by P. Bourdieu, P.L. Berger and T. Luckmann. Installed that in
conditions of transformations of society social and ideological feature
of mass-media product must be defined as carried by them perception
scheme of social space. Product mass media is denominated through
interpreting the real events and incarnate in specific narrative style
perception scheme of social space. Motivated scientific presentations
about the social sense of television news in the collation them with
reality everyday life. Designed empirical study strategy, correlation
scheme of perception scheme and features of text of television news,
factor system, Program of empirical study, approved on the array of
texts of news local private televisions. Practical value of results of
functioning is connected with using the product mass media in social
agents and powerful institute strategies, as well as in the scholastic
process.
