L.S. Levchenko. The Creative Self-realization of Senior Pupils through
Theory Research Work in Schoos of New Type. The Manuscript.

Presenting the thesis for a candidate’s degree (Pedagogics, specialty
profession 13.00.01 – theory and history of pedagogics. – The Kharkiv
State Teacher – Training University named after G.S. Skovoroda, Kharkiv,
1999).

In the mentioned above work the author shows how the senior pupils of
grammar schools and lycees can display the creative potential of their
research activity working in different scientific clubs and
associations. This is the first presentation of integrated complex of
the pedagogic support of the professionally orientated research work of
difted pupils, that is an indispensable condition of the development of
their creative activity. The most important factors are: including the
research work in the school curriuculum fulfilling the school’s and
other establishment’s orders; availability of an experienced competent
teacher-researcher, mastering the necessary methods of research work;
ensuring the unbroken chain of school and other education for gifted
boys and girls; the system of diagnostics of the process of the pupil’s
self-realization.

The presented models and the technology of the pedagogical support of
the pupils’ creative work are optimum and proven in practice.
