The dissertation is devoted to the problems of developing forced
electromagnets of cutoff valves (EMCV) with two internal magnetic shunts
for APS safety systems. The purposed of the work has been to enhance the
reliability of electromagnetic drives by decreasing excess temperature
of winding, increasing electromagnetic pull, reducing loath activation
time and the volume of active materials. A technique for solving a set
of non – linear equations for the ramified magnetic circuit is
developed. A method for calculating static, thermal and dynamic
characteristics of EMCV with two internal magnetic shunt is offered. A
criterion for the evaluation of effectiveness of electromagnets
operating in the attracted position of the anchor is developed.
Recommendations on the development of EVCV design as well as related
calculation program are provided. The main results of the work have
found industrial application in developing and designing new apparatus
as well as improving existing design.
