SUMMARY

Tyvanchuk Yu.B. Phase equilibria and crystal structure of compounds in
the {Y,Gd,Yb,Lu}-{Si,Ge}-In systems. – Manuscript.

Thesis for a candidate degree by speciality 02.00.01. – inorganic
chemistry. Ivan Franko Lviv State University, Lviv, 1999.

The dissertation is devoted to the investigations of phase equilibria in
the {Y,Gd,Yb,Lu}-{Si,Ge}-In ternary systems. Isothermal sections at 870
K for all systems have been built. Only Yb-Ge-In system has been
investigated at 670 K in the range 0-0,50 at. parts of Yb. The existence
of 16 ternary compounds has been established. The crystal structures of
12 compounds have been determined by means of X-ray monocrystal and
powder methods. Which belong to Mo2FeB2, CrB structure types and are
superstructures to Ho11Ge10 structure type.
