The thesis is designed to improve the results of surgical treatment of
duodenal ulceration. The manuscript is defended which contains the
results of complex investigation of parietal microflora in 162
ulcerative patients depending on the condition of acid-forming and
motor-evacuating functions and the morphological alterations of gastric
mucosa as well as in 114 patients of this group before and after
operation. The semination degree of gastric mucosa by parietal
microflora and its spectrum depend upon the condition of acid products,
the expressed morphological alterations of mucosa and the kind of
operative treatment. The frequent detection of Helicobacter infection on
protracted non-scarred ulcer after organ-preserving operations and ulcer
recurrence as well as the presence mucous microflora on inflammatory
complications in early post-operative period give evidence of these
microorganisms involvement in the processes. The use of the triple
antibacterial therapy along with low-energetic laser radiation gives the
maximum sanative effect contributing to the reducing of the number of
